ELAC Foundation Bylaws Agendas and Minutes East Los Angeles College

The primary purpose of the East Los Angeles College Foundation is to promote and elevate the vital role that East Los Angeles College plays in offering a comprehensive, open access, learning environment to a global society.

Goals

The Foundation’s singular goal is to support the programs of East Los Angeles College through its board membership. The volunteer Board of Directors embarks upon advocacy, building community good will and seeking fiscal support for the unfunded needs of the college. The Foundation strives to improve the quality, sustainability, and student involvement in many of the campus programs, such as Math/Science, Nursing, and Arts and Literature. Community college foundations statewide are expected to play a pivotal role in college advancement in the years to come and the East Los Angeles College Foundation is building the capacity to lead that charge.
