Regional Contract Academy of Training (RCAT): a collaborative venture for East Los Angeles College and Los Angeles Mission College funded by an Industry Driven Regional Collaborative grant from the California Community College Chancellors’ Office is located at 1100 Corporate Center Ste. 207 in Monterey Park, California. The RCAT Training Center provides training in customer service and related topics, customized training utilizing the expertise of industry-specific instruction, and college credit courses leading to degrees in high-value careers.

The training center utilizes a state-of-the-art computer laboratory, media enhanced smart classrooms, and a variety of conference rooms designed to accommodate small and large training groups. Customized training is concentrated in the areas of business, biotechnology, culinary, travel, small manufacturing, health care and international trade, industries that form the backbone of the economy of Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Valley.

The RCAT center is headed by Susan Fox, Director, and Marie Echavarri, Training Director.
