 The completion of
the Anguiano Mural Project by world renowned Mexican artist Maestro
Raúl Anguiano capped a dream come true for the community.
The mural located in the foyer of the Ingalls Auditorium/Edison
Center for the Performing Arts depicts an autobiographical vision
of Anguiano's distinguished career as a member of the circle of
the most prominent Mexican artists of the 20th century belonging
to the "Third Generation" of post-revolutionary painters.
Funding for the project has been made possible through the fund
raising efforts of the East Los Angeles College Foundation led
by Rebecca Zapanta and Selina Chi.
